Balin

The kingdom of Balin is situated in the furthest Western reach of Sylgrah, just West of the Western Empire before the Mountains of Vris. They are landlocked and surrounded by other countries, which makes their commerce and trade a difficult to maintain system of trade, relying almost exclusively on ore and lumber exports. The borders reach to the Western Empire, the Vris mountains, Trent Territory, and stopping at a Northern reach of mountains.

Balin's territory run in a jagged uphill along the foot of the Vris mountains to their West with the capital on top of a large hill amidst a half circle of mountains. There are a series of scattered noble houses lining the East, making it well protected.

Due to the simplistic primary exports of Ballin, the country often resorts to unusual methods of commerce and trade, including slavery. Occasionally, Ballin will assemble into a kind of mass military they can sell themselves to other countries as, however in times of peace, they will become more desperate.

The coat of Ballin is Blue with a Salmon, representing their seasonal exchange of culture. Ballin is a nation of men, purist to the point of disallowing any but Ahmen bloodline marriage, unlike Vallendale.

Ballin's relations are relatively unstable due to their constant changing disposition, however they do maintain a certain kind of respect to avoid the other countries allying against them should their reign reach too far.
